What is Transculture Training?

Transculture training is about teaching the essential practical know-how and develop the skills necessary to work, do business, communicate, build relationships and socialize with culturally-diverse people internationally, and domestically in multicultural workplaces and marketplaces.

Transculture training is different from the most often provided general overview briefings on multicultural workforce diversity, on international social and business etiquette and customs, which while informative, typically do not impart any useful take-away, practical know-how or skills, strategies, tools and techniques on how to actually work and do business transculturally.

Transculture training mitigates experiencing culture shock, confusion, uncertainty and anxiety when faced with unfamiliar, unforeseen and uncomfortable work and business circumstances stemming from transculture differences in work styles, in business practices, in behaviours, in attitudes, values, priorities, interpersonal communications and multicultural teamwork dynamics.

To work and do business multiculturally, domestic and international organizations' employees must understand, appreciate, respect, adjust and conform with the local work and business practices within the context of intercultural differences, interpersonal communication styles and sensitivities.

Following transculture training, which include experiential workshops, training recipients will be empowered with essential practical know-how, the skills, and work-relevant role-play practice exercises, and as a result, they will have greater confidence to work and do business more intuitively and productively with culturally-diverse colleagues, clients, partners and suppliers.
